Carpathian Euroregion — the oldest and largest structure of cross-border cooperation in Central Europe was established in 1993. Currently, it covers the area of border regions of 5 Carpathian countries: Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary, with an area of approximately 156,000 km2, inhabited by almost 15 million people. The mission of the organization is to create a common socio-economic space in the Carpathians by combining development potentials: human, institutional, economic, based on rich cultural and natural resources. 

The Euroregion is a new type of region, showing itself to a dynamic environment of international transcription, international public, private and non-governmental cooperation. Today, after the difficult experiences with the SARS Covid-19 pandemic have begun, we face challenges while standing at the threshold of a new perspective for the European Union. Challenges that come with new versions, bold visions, rising prices and determined partners. New institutional solutions are needed to ensure synergy between the fields of cooperation and development directions. Finally, from the list is the list on the list of Euroregion and PWSTE Center for Information and Cross-border Analysis. We are convinced that over time this unit will become a significant support for development in the Carpathians.
